Emergencies can happen anywhere at anytime. Helping you prepare for a radiological emergency is what we do. Our highly experienced team can design drills and exercises of all sizes, both domestic and international. Available services include technical/scientific scenario and simulation support as well as all traditional exercise planning requirements. Our customizable support can include any or all of the following:
Custom Scientific and Information Maps
The RES team can create an entire host of mapping products for exercises to support informing simulated actions taken, scientific predictions on impacted regions for worker protection, agriculture, and/or relocation/evacuation scenario questions.

Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program Process
Lead the planning efforts for events following the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) process. This includes running all meetings, creating documentation to support the meetings, and following up with notes and tracking of action items
Master Scenario Event List
Lead the development of the drill or exercise Master Scenario Event List (MSEL). This includes building out storylines to define the MSEL injects, creating associated materials, and tracking MSEL related action items of other planning team members.
Simulation Creation and Leadership During the Exercise
Scientists can support exercise simulation requirements, including development of radiation simulation files and creation of custom map products to convey the health physics impacts of the radioactive contamination. We are able to create scientific and technical products both before and during the exercise or drill. This includes leading the simulation cell.
Control and Evaluation
Lead the control and evaluation for the exercise or drill leveraging live/real time observations and tracking systems.

Required Documentation and After-Action Report
Create all exercise documents including the Exercise Plan, Control and Evaluation Plan, Simulation Plan, Situation Manuals, etc. Lead the development of the After Action Report. Our team will analyze the findings and draft the report for review with the planning team. We will continue to collaborate until the report is finalized based on your approval.
Pre-Exercise Training
Our team can create and provide pre-exercise training for all exercise staff and players. Options include both in-person and virtual training.
